Special Edition Enhances the G-Class's Distinctive Character

Since its debut in 1979, the "G-Class" has maintained high popularity for 35 years without a single full model change, and is Mercedes-Benz's premium SUV.

Its popularity is also high in Japan, and currently,G550,G63 AMG,G65 AMG, three grades are available in Japan.

This time, Mercedes-Benz Japan has released a special limited edition based on the "G550," which underwent a significant change last year for the first time in 14 years.



The exterior features a body color exclusively in Obsidian Black, wide AMG overfenders, and specially designed 18-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels painted in Titanium Grey.

The interior is luxuriously appointed with designo leather seats with seat heaters for all seats, black designo piano lacquer wood interior trim, exclusive designo floor mats, an Alcantara roof liner, and a leather dashboard.

Additionally, the seats and door panels can be chosen in either Porcelain or Classic Red.

The price is 13.9 million yen, with a limited production of 60 units in Porcelain interior and 40 units in Classic Red, totaling 100 units. All models are left-hand drive only.
