Limited Edition "Black Elegance" Model Also Arrives, Limited to 250 Units

Specification updates have been made to the fifth-generation "A4 Series," which was launched in 2016.

Exterior changes include the adoption of the front bumper and chrome grille, previously used in the "S line package" that emphasizes sportiness, for the "Sport" grade. The design of the aluminum wheels has also been renewed.

Meanwhile, the "S line package" and "S4" feature newly designed front bumpers and aluminum wheels, creating a more sophisticated styling. The rear, including the base grade, has been modified with an integrated rear diffuser with dual tailpipes.

Inside, the contents of the optional packages for the "S line package" and "S4" have been changed. Popular items such as the Virtual Cockpit and ambient lighting have been incorporated.



There are no changes to the powertrain. Both the A4 and A4 Avant feature a 1.4-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine for the "35 TFSI" and "35 TFSI Sport" models, and a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine for the "40 TFSI Sport" and "45 TFSI quattro Sport" models, all paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The S4 and S4 Avant are equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 turbo engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Prices range from 4.47 million yen to 6.24 million yen for the A4, and 4.76 million yen to 6.53 million yen for the A4 Avant. The S4 is priced at 8.46 million yen, the S4 Avant at 8.75 million yen, and the crossover model "A4 allroad quattro" at 6.58 million yen.

In conjunction with these specification changes, a limited edition "Black Elegance" model has been introduced for both the A4 and A4 Avant, with 125 units of each, totaling 250 units. Both models are based on the "A4 35 TFSI Sport" and "A4 Avant 35 TFSI Sport" with the 1.4-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine, and are equipped with gloss black 18-inch aluminum wheels, multi-color ambient lighting, and AGA floor mats Sport. The price for the sedan is 5.86 million yen, and for the Avant, it is 6.15 million yen.
