Introducing the F-PACE SVR: The Fastest, Most Powerful Ever

There are two major topics for the 2019 model year F-PACE, for which orders have now opened. The first is the introduction of the "SVR," a high-performance grade designed and developed by Special Vehicle Operations (SVO). The second is that all grades will now come standard with connectivity features that link with smartphones, such as "Remote Premium," "InControl Apps," and "Wi-Fi Hotspot."

The high-performance "SVR" model has been tuned by SVO and is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 supercharged engine that produces a maximum output of 405kW (550ps) and a maximum torque of 680Nm. With a top speed of 283km/h and 0-100km/h acceleration in 4.3 seconds, it is the "fastest and most powerful model in the F-PACE history."



Additionally, the F-PACE is equipped for the first time with a Rear Electronic Active Differential (EAD) to optimize traction and driving dynamics. The transmission has been optimized exclusively for the "SVR," and numerous dedicated parts contributing to aerodynamics, cooling performance, and high-speed stability have also been incorporated.

Other interior upgrades include the standard fitment of a suede cloth headlining across all grades, which was previously an optional feature.

In addition to two types of 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline engines, the lineup includes a 3.0-liter V6 supercharged gasoline engine, a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder diesel, and the 5.0-liter V8 supercharged engine used in the "SVR," making for a total of five engine options.

Body colors are available in a total of 12 options, including Fuji White, Corris Grey, and the SVR-exclusive Ultra Blue. Prices range from 6.64 million yen for the "Pure" with the 2.0-liter gasoline engine to 12.72 million yen for the "SVR."
