A Rotating Display That Transforms the Cabin Ambiance
Late last year, arrived in JapanFollowing the third-generationContinental GT, the convertible model has been announced.
The third-generation "Continental GT Convertible." Its newly designed body inherits the elegance and style expected of an open-top model. By employing aluminum and high-tensile steel in the platform, it achieves a 5% increase in torsional rigidity and a 20% reduction in the weight of the body-in-white. Furthermore, by positioning the front wheels 135mm forward, the bonnet is longer and lower, realizing a stretched, long-nose styling.
The headlights utilize the latest LED matrix technology, emitting light like sparkling jewels with sharp edges resembling cut crystal glass. The wheels are equipped as standard with 21-inch five-triple-spoke wheels.
When the roof is opened, a refined interior appears, featuring natural leather and rare wood panels, all handcrafted to the highest quality. The dashboard is shaped like a Bentley badge, characterized by a design resembling long wings stretching left and right. It also offers comfort seats with ventilation, heating, and massage functions, as well as a fully digital instrument panel.

Up to 70 Body Colors
A notable feature is the standard equipment of the Rotating Display. Upon entering the car, a seamless wood panel on the dashboard greets the occupants. When the engine start button is pressed, the wood panel in the center of the dashboard slides forward and rotates, revealing a 12.3-inch touchscreen display.
With a further rotation, three elegant analog meters appear—showing outside temperature, compass, and chronometer—transforming the cabin's ambiance.
The powertrain is the same 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbo engine as the Continental GT. It produces a maximum output of 635 ps and a peak torque of 900 Nm. Combined with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, it achieves 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 333 km/h.
The convertible roof can be opened or closed in 19 seconds while driving at speeds below 50 km/h. Seven roof colors are available, including traditional British tweed patterns. Eight interior roof lining colors are also offered.
Additionally, safety features are planned to include Pedestrian Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, City Emergency Braking, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The Continental GT Convertible offers personalization options, including up to 70 body colors (including optional shades) and a variety of leathers and wood panels. The price is 28.18 million yen, with deliveries scheduled to begin in October of next year.
