The "Compass Altitude" Makes Its Debut

Featuring special equipment with a black base, last August

the "Altitude Series" special edition models for the "Wrangler," "Grand Cherokee," and "Patriot". This is the second installment, with two models offered as limited editions. The "Compass Altitude," based on the "Compass Sport" not previously available in Japan, joins the lineup and will be released alongside the "Grand Cherokee Altitude."

The Compass Altitude, making its debut in Japan, features 17-inch aluminum wheels, a grille with mesh accents, and black-finished side roof rails and headlight bezels, all unified in the model's signature color. The interior also features a black theme, with special fabric seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The price is 2.6 million yen, with a limited production of 70 units.

Similar to last year's model, the Grand Cherokee Altitude is based on the entry-grade "Laredo." The headlight bezels, radiator grille with chrome mesh accents, rear license plate bar, and 20-inch aluminum wheels are finished in black, giving it a more commanding presence. Furthermore, it comes standard with the "Quadra-Lift air suspension" found in the higher-grade Limited model, allowing for ride height adjustment. It also includes a hard disk navigation system and an Alpine audio system with an integrated full-segment tuner compatible with iPod/iPhone as standard equipment. The price is 4.45 million yen, with a limited production of 150 units.

Both models are equipped with right-hand drive.
