Improved Performance While Maintaining Environmental Efficiency
Sales have begun in Japan for the "TT RS Plus Coupe," the latest and most powerful version in the TT series, which is an improved and more powerful iteration of the previous "Audi TT RS Coupe."
Like the "TT RS Coupe," this is a special model developed by "quattro GmbH." The engine is a 5-cylinder in-line gasoline turbo engine, with maximum output increased by 20 ps to 360 ps at 5,500-6,700 rpm, and maximum torque increased by 15 Nm to 465 Nm at 1,650-5,400 rpm.
The transmission is a dual-clutch 7-speed S tronic, driving all four wheels via the quattro system, enabling it to achieve 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.1 seconds. Despite improvements in all aspects of performance, it reportedly achieves the same JC08 mode fuel economy of 10 km/ℓ as before.
Both left-hand and right-hand drive configurations are available. The price is 8.9 million yen, and it can be purchased at Audi authorized dealerships nationwide.
