Exclusive Black Interior Accents

The Captur, first introduced in 2014 and updated with a minor change this past March, now welcomes the "S Edition," a limited model distinguished by its sporty color scheme.

Based on the premium Intense grade, this model features an exclusive blue body with a grey roof. It also sports unique 17-inch wheels, creating a distinctly sporty aesthetic.

Inside, an exclusive black interior complements the cabin, with premium materials like a combination of Alcantara and fabric for the seats, crafting a refined atmosphere. Additional special features include sporty aluminum pedals and heated front seats.

The powertrain consists of a 1.2-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine producing a maximum output of 87 kW (118 ps) and a peak torque of 205 Nm (20.9 kgm). Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed dual-clutch (EDC) transmission.

With a limited production run of 50 units, the price is set at 2,829,000 yen, an increase of 130,000 yen over the base model.

To commemorate the launch of the "Captur S Edition," Renault Japon has also initiated a "Renault x Patrick" limited edition sneaker giveaway campaign in collaboration with the French sneaker brand, Patrick.

The sneakers, mirroring the "Captur S Edition," are designed in blue and grey, with the "RENAULT" logo subtly placed on the heel.

Fifteen winners will be selected by lottery from applicants via the Renault Japon website.
