Daytime Running Lights and Touchscreen Also Added

The Japanese specification of the "DS3," the smallest model in the DS brand, has been updated. The exterior now features daytime running lights equivalent to the European specification and sequential turn indicators, similar to those on the flagship "DS 7 Crossback" announced earlier.

Inside, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system has been installed in the center of the dashboard, and a rearview camera is now standard, enhancing practicality. The electronically controlled 6-speed automatic transmission "EAT6" has been further refined for sportier driving with the addition of paddle shifters and a sport mode.

The 1,190cc inline 3-cylinder gasoline turbo engine, producing a maximum output of 81kW (110ps) at 5,500rpm and a maximum torque of 200Nm at 1,500rpm, remains unchanged. The price (2.59 million yen) is also the same as the current model. Sales have commenced at all DS STROE, DS SALON, DS URBAN TOKYO, and Citroën dealerships nationwide.
