The "Go-Out Edition" Discovery Sport is a special model created to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the first Land Rover's global debut this year. It retains the Discovery Sport's signature flexible 7-seat configuration and adds equipment designed to inspire adventures with family and friends.

The base model is the "SE," which features amenities like xenon headlights and cruise control. It is available with either a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine or a diesel engine.

The gasoline engine produces a maximum output of 177 kW (240 ps) and peak torque of 340 Nm, achieving 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h. The diesel engine delivers a maximum output of 132 kW (180 ps) and peak torque of 430 Nm, with 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 190 km/h. Both gasoline and diesel models feature a 9-speed automatic transmission driving all four wheels.


The special edition includes front seat heating and a heated steering wheel for comfortable driving even in winter. Additionally, it features a hands-free power tailgate that can be opened and closed with a simple foot gesture, perfect for when your hands are full with camping gear or other large items.

Driver assistance systems are also provided, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB).

Despite approximately 1.17 million yen worth of special equipment, the price increase over the base model is kept to around 560,000 yen. The gasoline model is priced at 5,639,000 yen, and the diesel model at 5,993,000 yen.
