The Common Ground Between Cruising and Maserati

The new "Levante GTS" is the first V8 model in the series, making its global debut in July at the 25th Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.

Its 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, one of the most powerful in Maserati's history, produces a maximum output of 550 ps at 6,200 rpm and a peak torque of 730 Nm between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm. While maintaining the 90-degree bank angle similar to the V8 unit in the flagship "Quattroporte GTS," it has been retuned to be compatible with the Levante's "Q4 intelligent AWD system."

Paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission featuring a newly designed shift lever for improved operability, it achieves 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 292 km/h.

This event took place over four days from August 18th aboard the "MSC Splendida," one of Italy's largest passenger ships, en route from Yokohama to Shanghai.

Named "Maserati Japan Tridente Experience 2018," the event was designed for customers to experience the world of Maserati at sea. Sixty customers from across the country were invited and witnessed the unveiling of the Levante GTS in a venue exclusively booked within the MSC Yacht Club's top-deck area.
