An Homage to the "8 Litre" Owned by the Founder

Bentley has unveiled the "Mulsanne W.O. Edition," a commemorative limited model named in honor of its founder, W.O. Bentley.

Based on the Mulsanne, which underwent a full model change in 2016, the design is handled by Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner. Furthermore, a thin slice cut from the crankshaft of the "8 Litre," a legendary car personally owned by W.O. Bentley, will be displayed as an objet d'art.

The "8 Litre," designed by W.O. Bentley himself as his final project for Bentley Motors in 1930, the "golden age" of British motoring, inspires the world of this limited edition. The new model features an interior evoking the ambiance of a vintage car, complemented by elegant black wheels, exuding a presence befitting the "8 Litre" itself.



Inside, a Mulliner-crafted illuminated cocktail cabinet with crystal tumblers is featured, with the geometric front matrix grille and headlights of the "8 Litre" depicted through marquetry.

Upon opening the cabinet, a display window reveals a meticulously crafted interior, housing a fragment of the crankshaft from the "8 Litre" owned by W.O. Bentley. The piece is finished with an engraving of W.O. Bentley's signature.

While the "Mulsanne W.O. Edition" exudes an Art Deco atmosphere through its interior and exterior, it naturally includes modern comforts such as rear door privacy curtains and a rear-seat entertainment system.

The body is primarily finished in Onyx black paintwork, though other colors are available. Customers can also choose from three body variations. With a global production limit of 100 units, pricing is yet to be announced. This is a vehicle that allows one to feel the history Bentley has traversed.
