The "Continental GT Speed" produces a maximum output of 625 ps and a peak torque of 800 Nm from its 6-liter W12 twin-turbo engine. Despite a curb weight of over 2 tons, it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and achieves a top speed of 330 km/h, the highest ever for a Bentley road car.

The drivetrain is the same as the base model,"Continental GT"which is 4WD. Normally, the front-to-rear torque split is 40:60, but it can be adjusted to send up to 65 percent to the front wheels and 85 percent to the rear wheels as needed. The electronic stability program (ESP) has also been tuned specifically for the GT Speed. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic from ZF.

The front grille features a blacked-out mesh design, and the front fenders, made from durable aerospace-grade 5083 aluminum alloy, are formed using a special technique. Additionally, the rifled exhaust pipes, reminiscent of jet aircraft, are a design motif adopted from the company's SUV concept model,"EXP 9 F"as seen in the "EXP 9 F."

The interior comes standard with the "Mulliner Driving Specification." While the audio system typically has 8 speakers, an optional Naim 11-speaker system is also available.

The price in Japan is 24.9 million yen. Deliveries are scheduled to begin around April 2013.
