Audi Japan has introduced its first premium mobility service in Japan. The service launched on Monday, June 4, 2018.

Audi on demand is a rental service offered by Audi. It has been available in cities such as San Francisco, Munich, and Hong Kong. Japan marks the seventh city and ninth location worldwide to offer this service.
Audi is actively responding to rapid environmental changes, including digitalization, sustainability, and urbanization, with its corporate vision "Audi. Vorsprung. 2025." Audi on demand is part of this initiative.
Additionally, the service includes benefits such as no need to return the vehicle with a full tank, unlimited mileage, complimentary provision of equipment like child seats and roof racks, and 24-hour emergency service.
The lineup features a rich selection of vehicles, including R8 and RS models, aiming to provide a wide range of users with an opportunity to experience the Audi brand.
To use the service, customers first complete an initial member registration on the dedicated Audi on demand website, then select a vehicle, and specify the desired rental period—from a minimum of 4 hours up to 30 days—along with the pickup and drop-off locations. The reservation is then complete.
For the Audi Q2 1.0 TFSI sport SUV, the usage fee is 2,100 yen per hour (minimum 4 hours) or 21,000 yen per day (24 hours).
Through this service, Audi Japan aims to offer a new brand experience to those who have never driven an Audi, as well as to individuals in large cities who seek high-quality mobility services without the need for car ownership.
