Limited Edition Special Model Also Arrives to Mark Fifth Anniversary in Japan

The 2019 model year " F-Type" features standard connectivity functions such as "Remote Premium," "InControl Apps," and "Protect," which link with smartphones. Furthermore, the "InControl Touch Pro" infotainment system has been enlarged from 8 inches to 10 inches. It is said to offer faster and more intuitive touch operation.

In addition to the standard 12 exterior colors, 18 colors from the SVO Premium Palette, offered by Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), which specializes in Jaguar Land Rover's high-performance models and bespoke orders, have been introduced for the first time on a Jaguar model.

Five engine types are available, ranging from a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine producing a maximum output of 221kW (300ps) and a maximum torque of 400Nm, to a 5.0-liter V8 supercharged engine producing a maximum output of 423kW (575ps) and a maximum torque of 700Nm. All are gasoline engines.

The available models, in addition to the engine variations mentioned above, are combined with body types of coupe or convertible, AT or MT transmissions, and rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, resulting in 24 different configurations.

Additionally, the "F-Type Freestyle" special edition model, commemorating the fifth anniversary of the F-Type's arrival in Japan, is also available in a limited run of 15 units. Based on the 2019 model year "F-Type Coupe 2.0L P300" with a 2.0-liter engine and 300ps maximum output, it incorporates features such as keyless entry and a rearview camera. Furthermore, it is offered in black (5 units) or white (10 units) body colors, paired with Union Jack center wheel badges, and is priced at 6.99 million yen, over 1.07 million yen lower than the base model.

Pricing for the 2019 model year F-Type ranges from 8.06 million yen (Coupe 2.0L P300) to 18.34 million yen (Coupe SVR 5.0L P575) for the coupe, and from 9.71 million yen (Convertible 2.0L P300) to 19.90 million yen (Convertible SVR 5.0L P575) for the convertible.
