Enhanced Comfort for the Range Rover, Increased Output for the Sport

“Range Rover” For the 2018 models, the exterior has been renewed with a new front grille, front/rear bumpers, headlights, and rear spoiler. The Range Rover features a more modern and sophisticated design, while theRange Rover Sportboasts a more refined and sporty appearance.

Additionally, both models come standard with the "Touch Pro Duo" infotainment system and "Remote Premium," which allows users to check and operate vehicle functions remotely via 4G connectivity.

New optional features for both models include a Head-Up Display (HUD) that projects key data such as speed and navigation onto the windshield, and a gesture-controlled roof blind for opening and closing the panoramic sunroof.

The "Range Rover" is characterized by improvements to its interior, making it more comfortable and luxurious. The seat shape and materials have been revised for a more relaxed and deeper seating experience.

The Rear Executive Class Seating, standard on higher trims like Autobiography, features a deployable console that electrically adjusts the rear center console, along with 40:20:40 folding rear seats, allowing for both 4-seater and 5-seater configurations.

A comfort controller function allows for seat massage, climate control, and individual seat temperature settings for the rear seats via a dedicated smartphone app.

Optional equipment has also been enhanced, including a center console box with a new rapid cooling function (accommodating four 500ml bottles), hot stone massage with 25 programs, and a footrest heater.

Sportier with Exclusive Equipment

The "Range Rover Sport" offers a comfortable interior space with semi-aniline leather seats featuring a cut diamond pattern and flexible storage in the upper glove box.

In the high-performance "Range Rover Sport SVR," developed by Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), the output of the 5.0-liter V8 supercharged gasoline engine has been increased from 550ps to 575ps, reducing the 0-100 km/h acceleration time from 4.7 seconds to 4.5 seconds.

Furthermore, the standard electronic control sports air suspension delivers a smooth ride and excellent cornering performance.

The exterior is enhanced with a dedicated mesh grille and newly adopted Narvik Black side fender vents, emphasizing its sporty character. Selecting the optional exclusive exterior pack allows for a carbon fiber bonnet, promising reduced weight and improved performance.

Prices range from 14.09 million yen (Vogue 3.0L/340ps) to 31.08 million yen (SV Autobiography 5.0L/565ps) for the Range Rover, and from 8.73 million yen (SE 3.0L/340ps) to 16.81 million yen (SVR 5.0L/575ps) for the Range Rover Sport.
