Jaguar's Fastest Sports Saloon Arrives!

A Saloon with 550ps Maximum Output

The Jaguar XFR-S, unveiled at the LA Auto Show, is, as its name suggests, a sportier iteration of the XFR sports saloon.

The 5.0-liter V8 engine, supercharged for increased power, produces a maximum output of 550ps and a peak torque of 680Nm, surpassing the XFR by 40ps and 55Nm respectively.

It is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, with a governed top speed of 300 km/h.

According to Jaguar, the suspension has been upgraded, with a 30 percent increase in torsional rigidity. The electronic active differential and dynamic stability control system have also been retuned to enhance handling performance.

It features 20-inch forged alloy wheels and improved aerodynamics, including a rear diffuser made extensively from carbon fiber.

The interior boasts carbon leather seats, a hallmark of R-S models, used for the cushions and armrests.

Dark aluminum panels are fitted, and the stitching and piping on the seats complement the exterior color.

Jaguar has also released a video of the XFR-S navigating mountain roads. The footage, accompanied by a disclaimer stating 'Proprietary road, filmed under special conditions by professional drivers; please observe speed limits on public roads,' is truly captivating.
