Japan-Exclusive Heritage Edition
The "G 350 d Heritage Edition" is based on the G 350 d, powered by a 3.0-liter V6 diesel turbo engine. This Japan-exclusive special edition is inspired by the 39-year heritage of the G-Class, which debuted in 1979.
Five of the most popular body colors have been selected: 160 units in Professional Blue, 130 in Blue Black, 100 in Imperial Red, 40 in Malachite Green, and 33 in Light Ivory, for a total limited production of 463 units.
The exterior features a "Night Package" with Obsidian Black accents on elements such as the sliding roof, black-painted 18-inch five-twin-spoke alloy wheels, door mirrors, front and rear bumpers, and fender flares. This creates a classical and exclusive exterior that complements the G-Class's characteristic square form.
The interior includes leather seats with front and rear seat heaters, and a "Heritage Edition" plate on the center console. All models are right-hand drive, priced at ¥11.9 million.

World-Limited designo Magno Edition
The "G 550 designo Magno Edition" is based on the G 550, equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo gasoline engine. The body color is designo Magno Platinum Matte, with Matte Black accents on the front grille louvers and the rear spare wheel cover ring.
The interior features exclusive appointments that enhance its premium feel, including designo black leather seats with white stitching and designo piano lacquer wood interior trim. It also includes special features befitting a world-limited edition, such as a "Schöckl embossed center armrest" with an embossing of Schöckl Mountain, the birthplace of the G-Class's off-road development, and "LIMITED EDITION" illuminated step covers. Of the 463 units worldwide, 55 will be sold in Japan for ¥17.8 million.
April 4, the date of the announcement, is recognized as "Four-Wheel Drive Day" in Japan. This date was officially registered by the Japan Anniversary Association in 2016, following an application by Mercedes-Benz Japan, commemorating Daimler's development of the world's first passenger car with a four-wheel-drive system in 1907. These special edition models were created to celebrate this occasion.
In conjunction with this announcement, special exterior colors – Yellowstone (¥700,000), Tourmaline Green (¥500,000), and Pearl Blue (¥500,000) – have also been added to the catalog model G 350 d.
