The Twingo GT is characterized by its engine and chassis being tuned by Renaultsport. The rear houses a 0.9-liter turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 80 kW (109 ps), which is 14 kW greater than the standard model, and a maximum torque of 170 Nm (17.3 kgm), an increase of 35 Nm. While the limited model was only available with a 5-speed manual transmission, the Twingo GT offers a choice of a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch).

The chassis features dedicated dampers and reinforced anti-roll bars. Furthermore, the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) has been tuned to intervene later compared to the standard model, allowing for rear-wheel slides to be felt in winding corners.

A side air intake is also equipped on the left rear fender. This reduces the temperature of the air entering the turbocharger by 12 percent, increases engine intake flow by 23 percent, and contributes to increasing turbocharger speed.

The accelerator, connecting the driver and the engine, adopts technology cultivated in the "Mégane R.S." model. It is claimed to achieve quick acceleration through dedicated accelerator mapping. Normal and Eco driving modes are available.

The body colors are Orage Brûlant Metallic (Orange) and Gris Lunaire Metallic (Gray). The orange body is accented with gray decals, and the gray body with orange decals. The interior incorporates the orange used in the body, creating a sense of unity.

The price is 2.29 million yen for the MT model and 2.39 million yen for the EDC model.
