At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Lexus unveiled the three-row, seven-seat version of theRXRX350L.
The wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,790mm, the same as the current two-row, five-seat specification. However, the overall length has been extended by 110mm from 4,890mm to 5,000mm. The rear window has also been made more vertical than in previous models to ensure headroom for the third row.

The RX350L is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing a maximum output of 290ps, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain is not available in Japan. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are offered. The three-row seating version, the RX450hL, has also been announced. It features a hybrid system combining a 3.5-liter V6 engine with an electric motor, delivering a system maximum output of 308ps, shared with the 2018 model RX450h.
This three-row seating version of the RX is scheduled to be introduced in Japan in December. However, the domestic specification will be limited to the AWD RX450h L.
