Total Output: 1,050 hp, Total Torque: Over 900 Nm

The FXX-K Evo is the latest model in Ferrari's "XX" program, initiated in 2005 for research and development of next-generation production models. Similar to the evolution package for the 2005 FXX and the 599XX,599XXit is an experimental vehicle that generously incorporates innovative concepts honed through circuit racing, including F1, GT3, and GTE. Consequently, the FXX-K Evo cannot be registered as a road-use model or obtain homologation for racing. It has been developed for a select group of supercar enthusiasts who wish to engage with Ferrari's innovative technological development alongside the engineers of the Cavallino Rampante.

The FXX-K Evo features a new aerodynamic package developed in collaboration with designers from the Ferrari Styling Centre, notable for achieving powerful downforce comparable to GT3 and GTE race cars.

A key feature is the fixed twin-profile rear wing, developed to work seamlessly with the active spoiler. Its downforce coefficient is 23 percent higher than its predecessor and equivalent to a 75 percent increase compared to the base road-going car. At 200 km/h, the downforce generated is 640 kg, exceeding 830 kg at maximum speed.

To complement the significant increase in rear downforce, the front area, including the bumper and underbody, has been redesigned. It utilizes a airflow management system with horizontal flicks (fins) and vertical turning vanes, leveraging regulations introduced in 2016, to optimize the vehicle's overall downforce.

The body, manufactured using carbon fiber composite technology derived from Ferrari's F1 experience, is lighter than the current FXX-K. Its overall height is a low 1,116 mm, with a front-to-rear weight distribution of 41:59.

The HY-KERS system combines a 6.3-liter V12 engine producing a maximum output of 860 hp at 9,200 rpm and 750 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, with an electric motor delivering 140 kW (190 hp). This results in a combined maximum output of 1,050 hp and over 900 Nm of torque.

The racing car-like cabin features a new steering wheel equipped with F1-derived paddle shifters and a KERS Manettino. Additionally, the rear video camera screen on the right side of the cockpit is now a larger 6.5-inch display, capable of showing data from the latest telemetry system, including KERS status and lap times.

Following 5,000 km of development testing and 15,000 km of reliability testing, the FXX-K Evo is set to be the flagship for the 2018/2019 XX program season, with nine track sessions scheduled between March and October. XX cars are also slated to participate in the traditional "Ferrari Finali Mondiali" event held after the racing season concludes.
