Electrification and Sports Models

The Nissan booth, themed "Spiral," symbolically expressed the excitement and experiences that cars continue to offer from the past to the future, showcasing a total of 13 models, including production vehicles.

Making its world debut is the NISSAN IMx, an SUV-type EV concept car equipped with the ProPILOT autonomous driving technology. It can autonomously drive using ProPILOT depending on the situation, or be enjoyed by the driver. This 4WD model features a 320kW twin-motor powertrain and boasts a cruising range of 600km.

In addition, the "Leaf NISMO Concept" achieves NISMO's signature sporty driving performance alongside the environmental benefits of an EV. It is equipped with a dedicated suspension, high-performance tires, and a dedicated tuning computer (VCM).

Following the "Note e-Power," the "Serena e-Power," which uses a dedicated engine for power generation and is driven solely by electric motors, was also announced. This model is scheduled for commercial release around Spring 2018. Furthermore, the "Serena NISMO," which offers NISMO driving performance without compromising the practicality for family use, was unveiled and is slated for release in November.

Additionally, the Skyline, scheduled for a minor model change in December, will be on display.
