A New Generation of High-Performance SUVs Unveiled
Mitsubishi Motors showcased 12 vehicles, including a concept model making its world debut and the new compact SUV, Eclipse Cross.
“MITSUBISHI e-EVOLUTION CONCEPT” is a next-generation high-performance EV in a crossover SUV format, evolving a versatile and highly mobile SUV with the essence of Mitsubishi Motors' technology.
It employs a 3-motor 4WD system with a front motor and a newly developed "Dual Motor AYC (Active Yaw Control)" at the rear. An onboard AI assists driving by interpreting the driver's intentions, and it also has a function that understands driving skill and provides unique coaching. The style presents a sharp, aggressive impression unlike existing SUVs.
The Eclipse Cross, exhibited as a reference in its Japan debut, is a coupe SUV that embodies Mitsubishi Motors' unique style, blending a dynamic SUV's mobility with a stylish coupe form. It features distinctive design, connectivity, and four-wheel control technology. Additionally, the production model "Active Gear Series" will be on display.
