The Dream of Owning a Ferrari and the Emotions It Evokes

"The 70th anniversary provides us with an opportunity to reflect on Ferrari's history and what Enzo Ferrari achieved. Each reflection allows us to rediscover the heritage and tradition that Ferrari has built," said Mr. Knechtel.

It began with the founder, Enzo Ferrari, leading a small team to develop the company's "heart" – the 12-cylinder engine, which became the benchmark for the company's history. Then, on March 12, 1947, this naturally aspirated 12-cylinder engine was fitted into the "125S" and rolled out of the factory gates. Since then, many of Ferrari's legendary cars have been powered by 12-cylinder engines.

Mr. Knechtel stated, "What Enzo Ferrari accomplished in founding one of the world's most famous companies, one that stimulates people's hearts globally, is truly astonishing." He continued, "Becoming a Ferrari owner today is not just about owning a very fast, high-performance sports car; it's about being part of a dream, something special that can only be obtained by becoming a Ferrari owner, a world of surging emotions that can only be experienced by owning and driving a Ferrari."

Driven By Emotion, the title of this event, is a tagline often used by Ferrari. Regarding this, Mr. Knechtel explained, "It's difficult to put into words, but we often hear from many people who have had the opportunity to drive a Ferrari that a certain emotion arises, unlike what they experience with vehicles from other brands in the world. That is precisely the spirit of the brand."

He further elaborated, "We want to deliver an experience to everyone who gets behind the wheel of a Ferrari that goes beyond just the experience of a fast vehicle, providing a different experience that stimulates their heart. We have a little secret to achieve this. It lies hidden in the vehicle's technology, which we call vehicle dynamics."

"With every new model we introduce, we pay attention to the technological features that evoke unprecedented new emotions during driving," said Mr. Knechtel. "Therefore, all the models we develop incorporate innovative technologies that differ from previous models, allowing the driver to intuitively understand them. In essence, we prioritize the development of how much emotion we can provide."
