Two Concept Cars Presenting Next-Generation Products and Design

Mazda's theme for this show is, "Through the 'driving pleasure,' Mazda brings radiance to the lives of those who love cars." At its heart are two concept models: a next-generation product concept model, heralding the upcoming introduction of Mazda's next-generation product line, and a next-generation design vision model, embodying the direction of future design.

The next-generation product concept model, making its world debut, is a compact hatchback that fuses Mazda's next-generation technology with its next-generation design. It incorporates the company's "SKYACTIV-X" technology, which achieves practical control of compression ignition in a gasoline engine, and the "SKYACTIV-Vehicle Architecture," a next-generation vehicle structural technology optimized for each function based on a human-centric philosophy. Mazda claims this achieves dramatically refined dynamic performance across the board. Furthermore, it condenses next-generation design into the form of a compact car, aiming for the ideal compact hatchback as envisioned by Mazda.

The other concept, the next-generation design vision model, further deepens the expression of Mazda's "KODO – Soul of Motion" design language, which began with theCX-5"CX-5" in 2012, embodying the concept of next-generation design.

In addition, Mazda will exhibit the three-row crossover SUV "CX-8" scheduled for release this December, a special edition "RED TOP" of the "Roadster" featuring a dark cherry soft top and an auburn Nappa leather interior, as well as the "Roadster RF" (equipped with a manual operation device), the "Roadster RF" (product மேம்படுத்தப்பட்ட car), and a special edition "Noble Crimson" of the "Demio." Also on display will be the next-generation gasoline engine "SKYACTIV-X" as a technology exhibit, alongside production models.
