The Most Powerful Cayenne, the "Cayenne Turbo S," Arrives

PorschePorsche Japan has introduced the "Cayenne Turbo S" to its SUV lineup. This new model surpasses the current top-tier model, theCayenne Turbo"Cayenne Turbo S," boasting superior performance, with reservations opening on November 1st.

Improved Fuel Efficiency

The "Cayenne Turbo S," the top-grade model in the Cayenne series, delivers a maximum output of 550 ps, a 50 ps increase over the "Cayenne Turbo," and a peak torque of 750 Nm, also an increase of 50 Nm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the Turbo, and reaches a top speed of 283 km/h, 5 km/h higher than the Turbo. The only transmission available is the 8-speed Tiptronic S.

Despite its high performance, the fuel consumption in the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) remains the same as the Turbo at 11.5 L/100 km (approximately 8.7 km/L). An increase in output without a change in fuel consumption signifies an improvement in fuel efficiency.

To ensure the powerful performance is fully utilized, the "PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control)," "PTV Plus (Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus)," "Power Steering Plus," and "Sport Chrono Package," which are optional on the Turbo, are standard equipment. The suspension system is the same self-leveling air suspension with PASM as used in the Turbo.

The exterior features air intakes and headlight housings finished in high-gloss black paint, enhancing its sharp appearance. The 21-inch "911 Turbo II" wheels with colored Porsche crests are exclusive to this model.

Inside, two exclusive two-tone leather interior color schemes are available: "Black/Carrera Red" and "Black/Luxor Beige."

The Cayenne Turbo S will be available for order starting in November, with a domestic price of 19.77 million yen.
