The "M Sport Edition Shadow" is based on the 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine model,318iand the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder "320i" and its 4WD model "320i xDrive," as well as the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel "320d M Sport." Both sedan and wagon Touring body styles are available.

The exterior features a new Sunset Orange as a common body color for this model. Additionally, it boasts exclusive equipment such as a black kidney grille, specially darkened LED headlights and taillights, and bi-color exclusive 19-inch light alloy wheels (Orbit Grey), all designed to accentuate its sporty appeal to the fullest.

The interior features a multi-display meter panel where optimized colors and meter designs for each driving mode illuminate from a blacked-out panel. It also includes black Dakota leather seats (or Black Sensatec leather for the 318i and 318i Touring) with blue stitching on exclusive dark carbon-look trim, and exclusive stainless steel pedals and footrest, all enhancing a sharp and sporty image.

Pricing starts at 5.18 million yen for the BMW 318i M Sport Edition Shadow, 5.95 million yen for the BMW 320i M Sport Edition Shadow, 6.27 million yen for the BMW 320i xDrive M Sport Edition Shadow, and 6.19 million yen for the BMW 320d M Sport Edition Shadow. The Touring station wagon models are priced at 220,000 yen higher than their sedan counterparts.
