BMW M4 Competition Gets a Manual Transmission
BMW has added a manual transmission model to the "M4 Coupe Competition," a higher-performance sports variant of the "M4." Sales began on Monday, August 28th.

Mastering the M4 Competition Manually
The "M4 Coupe Competition" is a sports model engineered by M Division based on BMW's two-door coupe, the4 Series Coupe "4 Series Coupe," further refined. M4 Coupewhich was launched in May of this year.launched in May of this yearThis latest addition features a manual transmission.
The engine is a 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbo, producing a maximum output of 540 ps (331 kW), 19 ps more than the standard M4. It achieves 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds.
The M4 Competition is equipped with Adaptive M Suspension for its dampers and stabilizers. Additionally, it features an Active M Differential with electronic control for variable torque distribution between the wheels, and specialized tuning for the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).
Externally, it is distinguished by features such as 20-inch forged M light-alloy wheels, a high-gloss black kidney grille, and dual exhaust tailpipes finished in black chrome. The interior boasts exclusive M sport seats and M striped seatbelts.
The M4 Competition manual transmission model is priced at 12.28 million yen, making it 510,000 yen less expensive than the existing dual-clutch transmission (DCT) version. The DCT version of the M4 Competition, as well as the DCT and manual models of the standard M4, will continue to be sold.
