Top Grade in Standard Body Size

The V-Class, which underwent a full model change in 2015, is now exclusively a diesel model. It is available in three body sizes: standard, long, and extra-long. Features tailored for Japanese users include a seating layout for seven passengers and electric sliding doors on both sides, along with dedicated accessories.

The newly released "V 220 d Sports" is the top-grade model in the standard body size, incorporating the sporty "AMG Line" in its interior and exterior. The exterior features a specially designed front spoiler, a rear roof spoiler lip, and 19-inch AMG twin-spoke alloy wheels. The interior is enhanced with carbon-style trim.

Additionally, metallic paint, which is normally a paid option, will be offered as a complimentary option for some colors.

The engine is the same as in other V-Class models: a 2.2-liter inline-4 diesel turbo producing a maximum output of 120 kW (163 hp) and a maximum torque of 380 Nm (38.7 kgm). It is driven by a 7-speed automatic transmission powering the rear wheels.

The price is 6.8 million yen.
