From Renault, a supporter of the Cannes International Film Festival, one of the world's three major film festivals, since 1983, comes this year's limited edition car inspired by the festival: theCaptur Canneshas been born.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival. Renault has once again provided over 330 official cars adorned with the Cannes Film Festival's official emblem, the "Palme," transporting film directors, actresses, and actors to the red carpet.

The limited edition "Captur Cannes" announced this time is based on the entry-grade "Intense." It is powered by a 1.2-liter turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 87 kW (118ps) and a maximum torque of 205 Nm (20.9kgm). It drives the front wheels via a 6-speed AT (Efficient Dual Clutch).

Special equipment includes a special body color combining Blanc Nacre Metallic and Noir Etoile Metallic for the exterior. It also features black door moldings with Blue Fisher accents.

Looking at the interior, it is equipped with lighting that illuminates the instrument panel with blue light called "Air Conditioner Panel Blue Illumination," a high-definition 9-inch SD navigation system compatible with Blu-ray, and front seats with heaters. Additionally, a decal with a special emblem illuminates.

The sales volume is limited to 50 units. The price is 2.89 million yen, approximately 270,000 yen higher than the base model.
