Two Evoque Special Editions with Enhanced Features

Jaguar Land Rover Japan announced on Thursday, June 8, that it will offer two special edition models of the Land Rover compact SUV, the Range Rover Evoque: the "Free_Style" and the "Cool_Style." Orders for the "Free_Style," limited to 90 units, and the "Cool_Style," limited to 54 units, have begun.

Enhanced Features at a Price of 4.99 Million Yen

The two special edition models for the compact SUV "Range Rover Evoque" are based on the 2017 entry-grade "SE" model, which is powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine producing a maximum output of 177kW (240ps) and a maximum torque of 340Nm (34.7kgm). Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The two special edition models feature enhanced equipment, including driver assistance systems such as autonomous emergency braking and lane departure warning, as well as a hands-free power tailgate.

The "Free_Style" includes the SE Technology Pack, which adds xenon headlights and front fog lamps, safety features like lane keep assist, and comfort features such as heated seats, all in Fuji White.

The "Cool_Style," on the other hand, is available in two body colors: Fuji White and Santorini Black. It features contrast paint with the roof and rear spoiler finished in Corris Grey. Stylish touches include 18-inch alloy wheels and wood trim for the interior.

Sales are limited to 90 units for the Free_Style, and 54 units for the Cool_Style (45 in Fuji White, 9 in Santorini Black). The Free_Style is priced at 4.99 million yen, 30,000 yen less than the base model, coming in under 5 million yen. The Cool_Style is priced at 5.49 million yen, 470,000 yen more than the base model.
