Enhanced Safety Features Including Introduction of Rear Camera Mirror

The third generation, which arrived in Japan in 2014,CTSundergoes its first facelift. This time, the front grille design has been changed, aiming for a wider, lower, and more massive appearance.

Safety features have also been enhanced. The class-first rear camera mirror has been introduced, providing three times the field of vision compared to before, reducing blind spots for the driver. Additionally, it is equipped with 10 airbags, front automatic braking, and adaptive cruise control.

The interior features a new Kona Brown color. It can be selected from three types of lineups.

The powertrain remains unchanged, with the 2.0-liter turbo engine producing a maximum output of 203 kW (276 ps) and a maximum torque of 400 Nm (40.8 kgm). It drives all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The body colors are two options: white and black metallic. The price is set at ¥7.45 million, undercutting ¥7.5 million while adding equipment.

Silver Special Limited Models for CTS and ATS Sedan

For the limited CTS and ATS models, the body color is Silver Moonlight Metallic, said to express the moon's glow. The interior is paired with a chic Jet Black.

The ATS powertrain is almost the same as the CTS. As special equipment, the ATS Sedan features an electric sliding roof, which is standard on the CTS, while the CTS is equipped with carbon fiber trim, among other features.
