DS, which separated from Citroën in 2014 to forge its own path as a premium brand, has updated the front design of its models. Last year, the design evolved from Citroën's traditional double chevronDS Wingsinto the "DS Wings," marking a new direction.
The brand collaborating with DS this time is the popular French label, "Ines de la Fressange." Ms. de la Fressange, who began her career as a fashion model before launching her own brand, commands attention not only for her fashion but also for her lifestyle.
The special edition is available in two types: hatchback and cabriolet. Both models feature a body color in Ines's signature blue, complemented by red mirror covers and an airmail stripe accent at the lower edge of the rear side glass.
Furthermore, the hatchback boasts a white roof, creating an elegant tricolor effect, while the cabriolet comes with a black fabric roof, lending it a chic ambiance.
The interior contrasts a glossy red dashboard with vibrant blue leather seats, and playful touches like the airmail stripe on the floor mats add to the charm.
Both the hatchback and cabriolet are powered by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline turbo engine, producing a maximum output of 81 kW (110 hp) and a peak torque of 205 Nm, driving the front wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission (EAT6).
The hatchback is priced at 2,999,000 yen with a limited production of 50 units, while the cabriolet is priced at 3,299,000 yen with a limited production of 30 units.
