Tuned Exclusively for the V8 Turbo
The engine in the "GTC4 Lusso T" is an evolution of the V8 engine that won International Engine of the Year in 2016. It has a displacement of 3,855cc, producing a maximum output of 449kW (610ps) at 7,500rpm and a maximum torque of 760Nm between 3,000-5,250rpm. Its top speed exceeds 320km/h, with 0-100km/h acceleration in 3.5 seconds and 0-200km/h in 10.8 seconds.
The GTC4 Lusso T, with its V8 twin-turbo engine and FR layout, maintains handling characteristics comparable to the V12 version, while its vehicle dynamics have been retuned to emphasize a sportier feel.
By reducing the vehicle's overall weight and setting the front-rear weight distribution towards the rear at 46:54, dedicated settings have been adopted for the 4WS and SCM-E control systems. These vehicle dynamic control systems are said to provide the driver with a sense of agility and reduced body roll.
Furthermore, the integration of F1-Trac and the E-Diff electronic differential optimizes traction and torque transfer to the rear wheels. It also enhances controllability on medium-grip surfaces.

Targeting Younger Demographics Seeking Versatility
It is unprecedented for Ferrari to offer two engine options, a V12 and a V8, within the same body. Dieter Knechtel, CEO of Ferrari Far East and Middle East, stated, "We are targeting users who seek a car with both sportiness and versatility, suitable not only for weekend long drives but also for daily use."
He elaborated on the customer profile: "They are younger individuals, aged 30 to 40. These new customers desire an elegant, different kind of car (referring to the GTC4 Lusso), but they do not require four-wheel drive." He further explained their usage: "They value versatile functionality that meets various needs, from daily commutes to enjoying sports at the beach, picking up children from school, or enjoying an evening drive with a partner. This is why we introduced the GTC4 Lusso T."
Three specific usage scenarios for the target audience were presented at the announcement. These included a business executive using the car for daily business activities, an active woman going to the beach for bodyboarding, and scenes involving school runs for children or long family drives, emphasizing the car's suitability for everyday Ferrari use.
A talk show featuring actor Yusuke Iseya and model Keiko Chris-Webb also took place. When asked how they would drive the GTC4 Lusso T, Iseya commented, "I'd want to enjoy highway driving and also explore winding country roads because of the handling. I might spontaneously decide to visit a hot spring." His perspective, coming from a motorcycle rider, focused on performance. Chris-Webb, on the other hand, said, "As I'm usually a passenger, I'd love to have a 'girls' night out' with four friends who enjoy driving," highlighting the car's capacity for four people and its relaxed usability.
