Two Limited Editions Arrive to Commemorate the Launch

The new Peugeot 3008 SUV, first unveiled in Europe last May and previewed in Japan late last year, has now been released. The new 3008 also received the European Car of the Year 2017 award earlier this month.

The powertrain features a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, producing a maximum output of 121 kW (165 ps) and a peak torque of 240 Nm (24.5 kgm), paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

GT-Line DEBUT EDITION

The body dimensions have increased by 85 mm in length and 5 mm in width compared to the previous model, while the height has decreased by 5 mm, resulting in a length of 4,450 mm, width of 1,840 mm, and height of 1,630 mm. Safety features have also been completely updated. It is equipped with Active Safety Brake, Lane Keep Assist, and Active Blind Spot Monitoring System. Furthermore, it incorporates first-time features for Peugeot, such as a hands-free electric tailgate and a panoramic sunroof.

To commemorate this launch, two limited editions are also available. The "3008 Allure Debut Edition," limited to 80 units, comes equipped with LED headlights, a hands-free electric tailgate, and a panoramic sunroof.

Meanwhile, the "GT Line Debut Edition," featuring sporty GT Line interior and exterior styling, includes the equipment of the Allure Debut Edition, plus Active Cruise Control, 18-inch Mud & Snow tires, and the Driver Sport Pack.

Body colors include new metallic shades like Copper and Amazonite Grey, as well as Pearl White and Magnetic Blue, for a total of seven colors. Pricing starts at 3.54 million yen for the entry-grade "Allure," 3.69 million yen for the "Allure LED Package." The limited 80 units of the "Allure Debut Edition" are priced at 3.98 million yen, and the limited 180 units of the "GT Line Debut Edition" are 4.00 million yen.
