Equipped with F1-Derived Hybrid Power
Mercedes-AMG unveiled the "GT Concept," a four-door coupe, at the Geneva Motor Show. This is not a tuning of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, but an independently developed AMG vehicle.SLS AMGAMG GTThis is a preview of the third model, following the "SLS AMG" and the "AMG GT."
The front adopts the "Panamericana Grille" with chrome vertical bars, inspired by the model that appeared at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.AMG GT RThis grille is painted red on the sides, creating a blended chrome and red hue when viewed diagonally.
Below the grille are the characteristic AMG "A-Wing" lip spoiler and large air intakes on the left and right. The center and side air intakes feature a shutter mechanism, also inspired by the "AIRPANEL" on the AMG GT R, which optimally controls cooling efficiency and aerodynamics according to the situation.
The slim, horizontal headlights incorporate the latest LED lighting technology, such as Nano Active Fiber Technology.S-Class CoupeThe slim, horizontally elongated rear combination lamps, a design common to Mercedes coupe models since the "S-Class Coupe," also utilize LEDs with a new heat dissipation mechanism.

Adopts F1-Derived Modular Power Pack
While the GT Concept incorporates features of the current "AMG GT," particularly appearing similar to the AMG GT from the front, the rear section is a four-door coupe with a fastback style and a large tailgate.
The powertrain is a hybrid combining a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with a high-performance motor driving the rear wheels, delivering a maximum output of 600 kW (816 hp) and achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in under 3 seconds, comparable to supercars. It features an AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system with torque variability, where the engine and motor work in concert to deliver optimal power, and includes torque vectoring to enhance cornering agility by distributing more torque to the outer wheels.
The battery utilizes the "EQ Power+" system, originating from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 machine. This power pack is high-output and lightweight due to the latest technology, and its modular design allows for customization of the battery capacity according to user preferences and market needs.
Although the "GT Concept" is presented solely as a concept model, Mercedes-AMG states that its exterior serves as a sneak preview of the next production model.
