6.5-liter V12 engine delivers 800ps

Ferrari's new flagship model, the 812 Superfast, will be unveiled to the world at the Geneva Motor Show.

The 812 Superfast is a model that inherits the legacy of the flagship model "F12berlinetta," announced in 2012, and the limited-edition model with only 799 units released last year, "F12berlinetta" F12berlinetta, and the limited-edition model with only 799 units released last year, "F12tdf" F12tdf," Ferrari claims.

The powertrain features a 6.5-liter V12 engine, the most powerful in a front-midship engine production model, producing 800ps at 8,000rpm. It generates a maximum torque of 718Nm at 7,000rpm and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with special gear ratios. The top speed exceeds 340km/h, and it boasts a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 2.9 seconds.

The 812 Superfast also features sports-tuned electric power steering. By integrating it with all vehicle electronic control systems, such as Side Slip Control, it can deliver high performance. Furthermore, the vehicle control system is equipped with the "Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0" system, an evolution of the rear-axle steering introduced in the F12tdf. Ferrari explains that this contributes to agile handling and reduced response times.

The body, designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre, measures 4,657mm in length, 1,971mm in width, and 1,276mm in height. The front incorporates an active flap and an aerodynamic device cluster, while the rear features an aerodynamic bypass to generate downforce.

The interior is designed to achieve both raciness and stripped-down elegance. The cockpit is centered around new seats, which are more ergonomic and sportier, along with a new steering wheel and infotainment system.

The body color is "Rosso Settanta," meaning "70th Anniversary Red," to commemorate Ferrari's 70th anniversary. Pricing and release dates are undecided. We eagerly await its debut in Geneva.
