All Eligible for Eco-Car Tax Benefits

The 3 Series underwent a full model change in January of this year. Previously, we have seen the introduction of theActiveHybrid 3" and the 4WD model,320i xDrive", among other announcements, boasting a rich lineup. While the "328i" and "320i" offered three design lines: "Sport," "Modern," and "Luxury." Now, an M Sport package, featuring sporty exclusive equipment developed by M, has been added.



Both the "328i" and "320i" are equipped with a 2-liter inline 4-cylinder DOHC twin-power turbo engine. The "328i" boasts a maximum output of 180 kW (245 ps) at 5,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 350 Nm (35.6 kgm) at 1,250-4,800 rpm. The "320i" produces a maximum output of 135 kW (184 ps) at 5,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 270 Nm (27.5 kgm) at 1,250-4,500 rpm.




The M Sport versions of the 3 Series, for which reservations have now begun, feature an "M Aerodynamics Package" consisting of exclusive front, side, and rear aprons, along with 18-inch star-spoke alloy wheels, creating a dynamic aesthetic.



The interior is equipped with sports seats for the driver and front passenger, an exclusive leather steering wheel, and seats upholstered in hexagon cloth and Alcantara with blue highlights.



The suspension utilizes M Sport-specific tuning. Furthermore, the automatic transmission models of the "328i" and "320i" are fitted with an 8-speed sport automatic transmission for quicker gear changes. With the optional "Adaptive M Suspension," electronic control dampers automatically adjust the suspension's response characteristics based on road conditions, delivering even more precise handling and a comfortable ride.



The price for the "328i" is 6.11 million yen, and it is eligible for eco-car tax reductions (75% reduction in acquisition tax and weight tax). The "320i" manual is priced at 4.83 million yen, and the automatic at 4.94 million yen, both eligible for 100% eco-car tax reductions (acquisition tax and weight tax).
