Gran Tourer Special Limited Edition "xCountry" to be Released in 200 Units

The BMW C-segment MPV, the 5-seater2 Series Active Tourer" and the 7-seater2 Series Gran Tourer" now feature the "218d xDrive."

The powertrain features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine. It produces a maximum output of 110 kW (150 ps) and a maximum torque of 330 Nm (33.7 kgm), with stable driving performance realized through the "xDrive" all-wheel-drive system. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to the base grade, "Luxury" and "M Sport" trims are available for both models. Prices range from 3.98 million to 4.48 million yen for the "218d xDrive Active Tourer," and from 4.24 million to 4.74 million yen for the "218d xDrive Gran Tourer."

In conjunction with the introduction of the new grades, a special limited edition "218d xCountry" for the 7-seater "Gran Tourer" will be released in 200 units starting January 28.

The engine is the same as the base model, but it uses an 8-speed sport automatic transmission. It also features specially designed 17-inch alloy wheels for a more dynamic appearance.

The interior includes black seats with front seat heating. The rear seats are equipped with a table on the front seatback, convenient for meals, along with safety features such as Active Cruise Control.

Two body colors are available: Alpine White and the exclusive Imperial Blue. The price is 4.92 million yen.
