A Special Limited Edition BMW X Series with an All-Black Interior and Exterior

On Friday, January 6, BMW announced the "Blackout," a special limited edition of its X3, X4, and X5 SUVs. A total of 310 units across the three models will be available starting Saturday, January 14.

Special Features Include Adaptive LED Headlamps and a Premium Sound System

The "Blackout," a special limited edition with an interior and exterior finished in deep black. X3 X4 X5all models are based on the M Sport package.

The exterior features a Black Sapphire body color, with the kidney grille and wheels unified in black for a stylish aesthetic. Adaptive LED headlights are also standard, enhancing the cool image.

BMW X3 BLACKOUT

The interior offers black leather seats and roof lining, along with comfort features like front seat heating. Additionally, a high-quality speaker system is included, and the X3 and X5 models feature an electric glass sunroof as a special equipment.

Regarding the powertrain, the X3 Blackout is equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel turbo engine producing a maximum output of 135kW (184ps) and a maximum torque of 380Nm (38.7kgm). The X4 Blackout features a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine with a maximum output of 180kW (245ps) and a maximum torque of 350Nm (35.7kgm). The X5 Blackout is powered by a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder diesel turbo engine, delivering a maximum output of 190kW (258ps) and a maximum torque of 560Nm (57.1kgm). The transmission for the X3 is an 8-speed automatic, while the X4 and X5 are paired with an 8-speed sport automatic transmission.

Sales numbers and pricing are as follows: the X3 is limited to 107 units at 7.73 million yen, the X4 is also limited to 107 units at 8.36 million yen, and the X5 is limited to 96 units at 10.67 million yen.
