Effortless, Anywhere
Rolls-Royce's development of its first all-rounder, "Project Cullinan" is proceeding smoothly, and it was revealed that starting in December, the vehicle will be taken to various locations worldwide for testing under diverse environmental conditions. Along with this announcement, new photos of the test vehicle were also released.
The previous test vehicle was a modified version based on the "Phantom II", but the new test vehicle is the latest iteration, designed to test the all-aluminum architecture that will form the basis of future Rolls-Royce models from 2018, alongside the development of the four-wheel-drive system.
The tests are scheduled to take place in harsh environments around the world to achieve Rolls-Royce's signature "effortless" experience "anywhere." For example, after Christmas, durability and traction performance in cold climates will be tested in the Arctic Circle. Later in the second half of next year, high-temperature performance and desert driving capabilities will be evaluated in the Middle East.
