Racing Model Based on RS3 Sedan Launched
Audi Japan announced the "RS3 LMS," a racing model based on the "RS3 Sedan," on November 29th. Orders have begun through the Advance Step program.

Unveiled as the latest version of the RS model at the Paris Motor Show in September this year, theRS3 Sedanwas also revealed. Simultaneously, Audi Sport had also unveiled the racing model "RS3 LMS," developed by Audi Sport for the "TCR Series," an FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) sanctioned touring car championship held mainly in Europe.
The "RS3 LMS TCR SEQ" arriving in Japan is also developed by Audi Sport, adhering to the "TCR Series" regulations. In Japan, it is expected to compete in the TCR-regulated category newly established for the customer racing series "Super Taikyu Series," among other events.
The body features a wide and low silhouette emphasizing aerodynamics, measuring 4,258mm in length, 1,950mm in width, and 1,340mm in height. The 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine produces a maximum output of 330 ps and a maximum torque of 410 Nm. It is equipped with a 6-speed sequential gearbox and boasts a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.5 seconds.
Weighing a light 1,160kg, it is equipped with a large roll cage, an FIA-compliant safety fuel tank, seats, and safety nets.
The steering wheel is left-hand drive only, and the price is 18.35 million yen.
