Limited Edition of 20 Units Featuring Carbon Fiber for Interior, Exterior, and Brakes
The "GT S Carbon Performance Limited," a special edition featuring carbon fiber parts for the exterior and interior, as well as carbon-ceramic brakes, has arrived.
The base model is the one that received a minor change just this past May.AMG "GT S"The 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, shared with the entry-grade "GT," has been tuned to produce a maximum output of 375 kW (510 ps) and a maximum torque of 650 Nm.
The exterior features the "AMG Carbon Exterior Package," which utilizes high-gloss black carbon parts in conjunction with the Iridium Silver Magno body color. The interior also uses exclusive "AMG Matte Carbon Fiber" parts, creating a sporty yet exclusive ambiance.
Meanwhile, the brakes are carbon-ceramic, with large-diameter rotors measuring φ402mm at the front and φ360mm at the rear. During manufacturing, a vacuum hardening process at 1,700 degrees Celsius increases hardness, improving fade resistance and durability to prevent brake performance degradation, while also contributing to weight reduction.
Additionally, the car is fitted with lightweight, high-strength forged wheels with a special polished finish, sized 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear.
Furthermore, it is specially equipped with the "Burmester High-End Surround Sound System," featuring 11 high-performance speakers. Users can select from four sound profiles, such as "Live" and "Easy Listening," depending on the music.
The steering wheel is on the left side, with a limited production of 20 units. The price is 22.8 million yen.
