Driver Assistance Systems, Including Head-Up Display, Also Standard

This is the 11th special limited edition model to commemorate BMW's 100th anniversary. The base model is the "420i Gran Coupé M Sport," which debuted in Japan in 2014.

The exterior features two-tone 19-inch wheels and a special aluminum finish on the window molding and front fender air breathers, giving it a sporty dress-up.

The interior features black Dakota leather seats with exclusive blue stitching. BMW claims that the ash grain interior trim and M Performance stainless steel pedal set create a refined and sporty atmosphere.

Additionally, driver assistance systems such as the BMW Head-Up Display, which projects various information like vehicle speed and route guidance directly onto the front windshield, and Adaptive LED Headlights are standard equipment.

The powertrain consists of a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine producing a maximum output of 135 kW (184 ps) and a maximum torque of 270 Nm (27.5 kgm). It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Body colors are Alpine White or Carbon Black for an additional ¥82,000. Sales are limited to 200 units, and the price is ¥6,420,000, which is ¥850,000 higher than the base 420i M Sport.
