BMW 320i Welcomes All-Wheel Drive Model 'xDrive'

BMW has begun accepting orders for the "320i xDrive," an all-wheel-drive model of its core 3 Series.

Finally Arrives with Right-Hand Drive

Regarding the BMW 3 Series, OPENERS has previously reported on the328i" and the320i",Active Hybrid 3" models. Now, the "BMW 320i xDrive," the first 4WD model in the current BMW 3 Series lineup, has begun accepting orders.

While 4WD versions of the 3 Series have been available in previous models, they were all left-hand drive. The "320i xDrive" making its debut this time will finally be available in a right-hand drive configuration.

The price difference between the base "320i" and the "320i xDrive" is 300,000 yen. The vehicle weight is 110 kg heavier, and the minimum turning radius has increased by 0.2 meters. The JC08 mode fuel economy is 15.2 km/ℓ, compared to 16.6 km/ℓ for the 320i.

The price is 4.8 million yen. The "Sport," "Modern," and "Luxury" design lines are available for an additional 200,000 yen, totaling 5 million yen. The "M Sport" package, featuring sports aero parts and 18-inch wheels from M, is priced at 5.24 million yen.
