A Futuristic Human-Machine Interface

The Paris Motor Show runs until October 16. Alongside the "UX Concept," Lexus will also exhibit the updated "IS" and the new coupe "LC."

The highlight of the show is the "UX Concept," making its world premiere. This model offers a glimpse into the future of Lexus' compact SUVs.Rear Styling Revealed Early SeptemberWhile its rear styling was unveiled in early September, the full picture has yet to be revealed.

Now, Lexus has released details of the interior, characterized by its futuristic design. The images reveal a dashboard with a linear design, and the fin-shaped A-pillars are also visible.

Beyond its design, the instrument panel features a transparent spherical hologram that displays various information, showcasing its advanced human-machine interface technology.

The center console also features a crystal-shaped hologram with cut facets, displaying climate control and infotainment information, accessible from both the driver and passenger seats.

Furthermore, the concept incorporates the latest electronic technologies, such as digital mirrors and electrochromic glass. The use of digital mirror cameras allows for a more compact and thinner profile compared to traditional mirrors, with the view displayed on an in-car screen.

Additionally, all switches are housed under a transparent cover on the center console, and the passenger-side instrument panel features a detachable audio speaker.

The full reveal is scheduled for 1:30 PM local time on September 29, which is 8:30 PM Japan time on the same day. We eagerly await the unveiling of Lexus' vision for the future compact SUV.
