The Audi "A5" has undergone a model change and been reborn with Audi's latest design language. The RS5's redesigned LED lights at the front and rear, along with the Singleframe grille, signify its place within the latest Audi family. The interior features a sporty impression with a black base and carbon fiber panels.

The engine isprevious generationunchanged from the previous generation: a 4.2-liter V8 FSI engine. This naturally aspirated, high-revving engine, a rarity today, produces a maximum output of 331 kW (450 ps) at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 430 Nm between 4,000-6,000 rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and achieves a fuel economy of 8.1 km/ℓ under the JC08 mode.

The transmission is a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic. The "quattro" all-wheel-drive system, which dynamically adjusts the front-to-rear torque distribution, operates with a default split of 40% front and 60% rear, similar to other RS models. It can distribute up to 70% of power to the front and 85% to the rear. Additionally, it is equipped with a "sport differential" that varies power to the left and right rear wheels based on driving conditions, enhancing straight-line stability and enabling sharp cornering.

The suspension is a dedicated sports suspension, with the ride height approximately 20 mm lower than the A5. The wheels are standard 19-inch, with a tire size of 265/35.

Both right-hand drive and left-hand drive specifications are available, with a price of 12,226,000 yen. Sales will be conducted through Audi's authorized dealerships nationwide.
