A New Generation Lexus Designed in Europe
Lexus announced that it will unveil its new concept car, the "UX Concept," at the Paris Motor Show in France, starting September 29th.
The design, handled by Toyota Europe Design Development, or ED², based in Nice, France, aims to "showcase the direction of Lexus' next-generation, powerful, and bold exterior design, creating a unique world view with an interior that fuses traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology. It aims to provide an advanced driving experience in urban life."
The design, for which only the rear has been revealed, retains recent Lexus characteristics such as the spindle grille that repeats to the rear, and LED and chrome parts emphasizing the "L" shape. However, the boldly protruding rear fenders and C-pillar, the fins housing the taillights, and the tires with special tread patterns emphasize its novelty.
At the Lexus booth, in addition to this, the European premiere of the minor-changed new " IS" and the new coupe " LC" which is scheduled for release soon, will be on display.
