Engine Output Increased by 40 PS to 440 PS

A new top-tier grade has been added to theMacan, which was first announced in 2014.

The powertrain uses the same 3.6-liter engine as theMacan Turbo, but boasts a maximum output of 324 kW (440 PS), an increase of 30 kW (40 PS), and a maximum torque of 600 Nm, an increase of 50 Nm, available from 1,500-4,500 rpm. Top speed has increased by 6 km/h to 272 km/h, and the 0-100 km/h sprint time in Sport Plus mode is now 4.4 seconds, a 0.2-second improvement.

It also features a newly developed braking system. Additionally, the Sport chassis, Sport Chrono package, and Sport exhaust system are standard equipment.

The front is equipped with 390mm diameter slotted brake discs, 30mm larger than those on the standard Macan Turbo, and red-painted opposed six-piston brake calipers. The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system has also been tuned to optimize performance with the body, which is lowered by 15mm as standard. An optional air suspension is also available, which lowers the vehicle by 10mm and includes self-leveling and height adjustment functions.

Furthermore, with the optional Sport Chrono package, the settings become even sportier. Porsche claims that the 7-speed PDK transmission, with its reduced response times during gear shifts, optimized shift points, and increased torque during shifts, delivers even greater acceleration performance.

In addition, various options are available, including 21-inch 911 Turbo design wheels, LED headlights, and interior packages.

The arrival date and pricing for the Macan Turbo Performance in Japan have not yet been determined.
