Audi Launches New Entry-Grade TT and Two Limited Edition Models

On the 23rd, Audi Japan announced the new entry-grade "TT Coupe 1.8TFSI" with a 1.8-liter turbo for the compact sports car "TT." Simultaneously, the "1st edition," limited to 180 units, and the "TTS Coupe urban sport limited," limited to 110 units, were also released.

1st Edition Features S line Exterior Package

Last year, the Audi "TT" underwent a full model change for the first time in nine years, evolving into its third generation. Replacing the previous 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo "TT Coupe 2.0TFSI," the new "1.8 TFSI" equipped with a 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder turbo has arrived as the new entry model.

The 1.8-liter turbo engine produces a maximum output of 132kW (180ps) and a maximum torque of 250Nm (25.5kgm). This is paired with a 7-speed S tronic transmission. The previous front-wheel-drive 2.0TFSI, which was the entry-grade model, will be discontinued.

To commemorate the birth of the 1.8TFSI, the "1st edition" features the S line exterior package, which is not usually offered. It includes exclusive bumpers, radiator grille, and door sill trims, along with LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and an advanced safety assistance package.

Meanwhile, the "TTS Coupe urban sport limited" is equipped with the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine as the base "TTS," producing a maximum output of 286ps and a maximum torque of 380Nm. It features a 6-speed S tronic transmission and is paired with the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. In terms of equipment, it comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, an extended leather package, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and an assistance package. Body color options include Glacier White Metallic, Mythos Black Metallic, and Nogaro Blue, an exclusive color reference-displayed at last year's Tokyo Motor Show, available as a premium option for an additional 260,000 yen.

The price for the "TT Coupe 1.8TFSI" is 4.69 million yen. The limited "1st edition" is priced at 5 million yen for 180 units, and the "TTS Coupe urban sport limited" is 8.27 million yen for 110 units.
