The First AMG Model Priced Under 5 Million Yen

The Mercedes-AMG A45 4MATIC, a compact hatchback from Mercedes-AMG that received a facelift last November,A 45 4MATICserves as the base for the "A 45 4MATIC Racing Edition," a special edition limited to 100 units nationwide.

The powertrain, consisting of a 2.0-liter inline-4 turbo engine producing a maximum output of 381 hp and a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT, along with AMG-tuned sports suspension and brake systems, remains unchanged. This special edition refines the functionality and equipment for a more focused driving experience.

The seats have been changed from leather power seats to manual seats made of DAINAMICA material. Additionally, the genuine COMAND navigation system with TV tuner, KEYLESS GO, and rear armrest have been removed, creating a model specifically focused on driving performance.

The price is 5.83 million yen, over 1 million yen less than the base vehicle. It is available only in right-hand drive, with 50 units each in "Cosmos Black" and "Calcite White" body colors.
